PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Schedule & Location
PGL CS 2 Major Copenhagen 2024, the first Major tournament of 2024 and the debut Major in CS2, will take place from March 17 to 31. For a two-week period, the center of Counter-Strike esports will be the capital of Denmark, the city of Copenhagen.
As is customary in esports Counter-Strike 2, the tournament will be divided into several stages: Opening Stage (March 17-20), Elimination Stage (March 21-24), and Playoff Stage (March 28-31). The Opening Stage and Elimination Stage will take place in pavilions, while the playoff stage of the championship will be held at the Royal Arena, which accommodates approximately 17,000 spectators.
PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 Participating Teams
16 teams will compete at PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024. They will compete for $1,250,000 and the title of the first world champion in 2024 and the first world champion in Counter-Strike 2. However, in order to compete for such high prizes, teams will still have to travel to Denmark by overcoming RMR tournaments. In total, there are 4 + European Decider RMR: European RMR A, European RMR B, Asia-Pacific RMR, American RMR, and European Decider RMR.
