The applicable rule states that: "If a problem occurs during a round, after damage has been dealt, and the outcome of the round cannot be determined (e.g. due to a server crash), the match should be rolled back to the start of the round."

This is different from the solution used in matches where players such as sh1ro, F1KU are eliminated during the round. However, as it turned out, there is a subsection in the rules that governs situations like the one that happened in the sixth round of the Outsiders-fnatic match. However, this incident did not affect the outcome of the Overpass map, which ended with a score of 16:1 in favor of the Outsiders. Moreover, fnatic lost the series with a score of 0:2 and went to the fifth round of IEM Rio Major 2022 Challengers Stage.
