In turn, the "liquid" did not come up with anything in defense, lagging behind the "hosts" for three rounds - 9:6. After switching sides, IHC Esports managed to improve the situation and run ahead. However, at the right moment, Team Liquid got together to demonstrate a cool attack and take the lead in the series — 16:13.
Then the teams moved to the Overpass map, which became the choice of Team Liquid. Here the North American team felt much more confident, as they were in complete control of the situation. At the same time, IHC Esports had an unfortunate half on defense, winning only five rounds — 10:5. After the switch of sides, the Mongols could not return to the game, while Team Liquid quickly brought the matter to victory and knocked out the opponent to the lower bracket — 16:6.
