The summer of the great Counter-Strike: Global Offensive continues. ELS Pro League Season 18 is in full swing.

32 teams from all over the world gathered in Malta to find the champion of Season 18, and at the same time to fight for a solid prize pool. In addition to $200,000, the winner of the championship will get a place at IEM Katowice 2024 and Blast Fall Finals 2023. That's a prize worth fighting for.

We are in the group stages. The teams from Basket A continue their battle, and we move on to the review of Group B matches. First up will be Heroic and Roosters.

The duel, let's be honest, is unlikely to be The International interesting. The difference between the teams is more than obvious, and still, we leave room for sensations.

Let's find out how the opening match in Group B will end, who will be stronger in the Heroic/Rooster confrontation and pass to the next stage, and who will have to go to the lower grid of Group B.

Heroic's form

Let's open the match analysis with an analysis of Heroic's form. In this match the team plays an obvious first number one.

Heroic have maintained their fighting lineup for over a year. All players have a KD greater than one, but the headliner is stavn, who has 1.13.

Before their performance at Gamers8 Heroic attended another prestigious tournament - IEM Cologne. Being one of the main contenders to win the German tournament, the Danes made it to the play-offs, but failed to move beyond the first round.

Heroic lost to Astralis in the first round of the play-offs with a score of 0-2.

At Gamers8 they debuted with a match against Falcons. In general, the game ended predictably, but the French gave a fight, especially on the first map (Mirage 22-18 in favour of Heroic). The second one went to Heroic with the score 16-10.

In the previous match Heroic faced GamerLegion. Despite GL's seemingly idle position in that match, they managed to get on the Danes' nerves and take the map, but still lost in the end.

Heroic ended Gamers8 with a match against ENCE. The Danish club again failed to beat the Finns and left the major championship at the top 4 stage.

The best Heroic map is Nuke. There are 5 wins and 0 losses.

They like to play Overpass, where they lost only once. In three months on Overpass, they are 5-1.

One of the most frequently played and yet successful maps is Inferno. Heroic has a 9-3 statistic here. It also goes well on Ancient, where Heroic is 3-1 in matches.

Form Roosters

Let's continue the match analysis with the Roosters form. In this match the club is playing as a number two.

They have few chances to win. The odds for the Aussies are at around 6.

Again, the number is more than obvious. The Roosters are clearly not up to the level of Heroic and they don't have game experience similar to Denmark.

The Australian club has had a pretty eventful year andVent. However, the level of these tournaments was quite low.

Among the most productive championships are the ESEA Cash Cup Oceania series tournaments. Rooster played 6 of them, 5 of which were won and one of them took TOP-2. History of head-to-head meetings

Previously, the teams have not played each other in head-to-head confrontations. The match in Group B at ESL Pro League Season 18 will be the first.

Considering the overall level of the teams, I don't see how Roosters can put up a fight. In order to lose, Heroic must literally stand afk, which the Danes, of course, will not do.
