Gaimin Gladiators vs BB Team

The first confrontation map went into the collection of Gaimin Gladiators without any problems, because IO, together with Bristleback, is a very strong combination, and for Gladiators it is one of the signature ones. And although the beginning was entirely for the BB Team, because they led more than 2 thousand gold until the 15th minute of the match, after the 24th minute Gaimin Gladiators confidently begin to gain and their advantage is constantly growing, despite the Bounty Hunter in the enemy pick. The fight at the 18th minute was 4 v 0 and the taken Roshan helped the Gladiators to return to the game, after that they were no longer behind on the first map.

The second matchup map was pretty even, but Dota Plus favored the pick of the Gaimin Gladiators. However, Enigma and Keeper of the Light of the BB team felt very comfortable in fights and gave out their skills. A one-sided fight at the 36th minute with the killing of two cores of the Gladiator positions and the second Roshan given away, allowed BB Team to get the advantage and take the lead in gold. After that, we didn't see any successful fights from Gaimin Gladiators. And Black Hole from SoNNeikO on 4 heroes and Ultra-kill from Bloodseeker put a bullet at the end of the map.

The third card surprised us from the draft stage. Team Gaimin Gladiators took a good combo with IO and Chaos Knight, but for some reason got Strom Spirit to them. Recall that Storm currently has the lowest percentage of wins in games and is a weak hero. BB Team, in turn, took Night Stalker as a carry, and what is most interesting, this adventurous decision worked. Starting from the laning stage, BB Team gained an advantage and had a 2k gold advantage in the 10th minute, and after that they started to swing the whole map at all thanks to the review of Night Stalker and Keeper of the Light. There were moments when Gaimin Gladiators made good kills, but globally they did not affect anything. The most important fight took place at the 22nd minute, when Gaimin Gladiators died with the whole team in enemy territory, and IO did twice, killing only one Chen. A complete failure from them, and for the BB Team this is a powerful boost in gold, because after the fight they were already leading 10k gold. GG failed to turn this around and admitted defeat in this qualifier for ESL One Malaysia 2022.
