OG, playoffların ilk katılımcısı oldu ESL Malaysia 2022
Ihor MatusThe last matches of today at ESL One Malaysia 2022 have come to an end, and at the same time, OG have become the first team to provide themselves with enough points to reach the playoffs. We will talk about this and more in more detail in our today's material.
OG vs Nigma Galaxy
1 card
An absolute rout - this is the phrase that can describe the duel that took place between OG and Nigma Galaxy on the first map. OG picked the meta Queen of Pain in the mid lane and Huskar in the safe lane. Bzm and Ammar The F showed an excellent game both in the early stage and in the late game.
OG never lost to their opponents in a teamfight or in terms of farming, and Nigma Galaxy had problems with both the whole game.
Slowly and confidently, OG made their way to success and, having gained a lead of 30,000+ net worth, the team ended the fight with two successful teamfights, where Nigma Galaxy lost six heroes each and had no opportunity to redeem.
It is worth praising SumaiL, who was able to impose some kind of struggle on his opponents, unlike his teammates. He ended the meeting with a score of 11-9-6. In general, the meeting ended in 35 minutes with a score of 50-18 in favor of OG.
2 map
On the second map, Nigma Galaxy changed their approach and even took a hero like Primal Beast for MinD_ContRoL, which was added to the pool of heroes available in official matches just recently. By the way, he showed the best result among all his teammates.
The first 20 minutes of Nigma Galaxy showed excellent performance and crushed their rivals as best they could. Although they were at a maximum margin of 5,000 networth, this result also led the team to victory. However, in the 31st minute, OG took advantage of the weakness of the opponents and began to realize their potential. Over the next five minutes, the team put an end to this confrontation, demolishing two sides, the T4 towers and the throne.
Nigma Galaxy came close to drawing the game, but ultimately failed to do so. For OG, this victory is doubly pleasant, since it was it that brought the team to the final stage and Yuragi and his comrades start in the upper bracket. It is also interesting that OG play with a replacement in the roster. Instead of Misha, the role of a support is played by Chuvash, the team's coach. Evgeny 'Chuvash' Makarov, by the way, became the most valuable player of the match, and on the OG Twitter account they published a post in which they reported Chuvash's fearlessness in front of dinosaurs (a reference to Primal Beast, who was taken by Nigma Galaxy).
BOOM Esports vs Team Liquid
1 card
The match between BOOM Esports and Team Liquid was interesting because the teams are fighting for the right to break into the top 4 and stop being called the outsider of Group B. Both teams have not yet been able to win a single victory.
The meeting began with Team Liquid taking a long game approach and choosing Alchemist for their MATUMBAMAN, who is in need of greedy farming. For the first twenty minutes, the team could not show any performance, but then such a bet played and the team began to snowball well, gaining more and more advantages every minute.
After almost 40 minutes of the game, the team went ahead of their opponent by 27,000 net worth and won the match. The meeting ended in 38 minutes with a score of 28-18 in favor of Team Liquid.
MATUMBAMAN became the best player of the first map, and from BOOM Esports it is worth praising Yopaj, who performs quite well in the mid lane.
Map 2
On the second map, BOOM Esports decided to take a vendetta for the merged first map and approached this in an unusual way. They took Phantom Assassin, who doesn't appear very often in this championship, and JaCkky played this character just fine.
Despite the excellent performance of the carry player from BOOM Esports, Team Liquid did not give up and forced a serious fight on their opponents. This resulted in the audience watching the swing for the first half hour of the game, which swayed back and forth a bit. As a result, after 28 minutes, when JaCkky had enough artifacts, the team began to show a more persistent and proactive game. After showing a sufficient amount of assets, the esportsmen won four mass fights and went into a good gap in the net worth.
When the game exceeded 40 minutes, BOOM Esports gave the final battle to their opponents and did what is called a team wipe without losing a single hero, which does not happen very often on the professional stage. Team Liquid understood what it was going to and did not drag it out by writing “gg” in the chat.
The meeting ended in 42 minutes with a score of 39-18, and the main star of the fight was JaCkky, who played Phantom Assassin with a score of 16-1-14.
Fnatic vs TSM
1 card
In a match between Fnatic and TSM, the latter tried for the first time to win in a 2-0 confrontation. They failed again. On the first map, the team confidently began to move towards their goal. The already quite familiar mid Queen of Pain appeared in the TSM asset, as well as the Phantom Assassin carry, which we saw in the last match. Both Bryle and Timado played these heroes well and crushed the opponents from Fnatic.
Throughout the game, TSM slowly but surely and methodically continued to impose a fight on their opponents. After 30 minutes, they reached a net worth gap of almost 30,000 and had a very successful fight that saw Fnatic lose four heroes and TSM none.
Interestingly, Fnatic hurriedly wrote “gg”, without even waiting for the opponents to break T3 towers and immediately decided to move on to the next map.
Bryle and Timado pulled out the game on their backs with a score of 13-1-9 and 10-0-7, and the meeting ended exactly 33 minutes later with a score of 31-12 in favor of TSM.
2 map
Fnatic managed to approach the second map with a cool head. They changed the pick of heroes and the approach to the game. 15 minutes after the start, they started to break away, but TSM made twice a good attempt to bounce back and return to the game.
They did not manage to do this, although with a break of 18,000 net worth they reduced the distance to 8,000. Then Fnatic decided to hold a teamfight and in the first of them they killed four enemy heroes, and in the next mass fight they issued a full team wipe without losing their heroes.
From the TSM team, only Bryle, who played on Snapfire, showed a good performance, but in Fnatic, DJ, Armel and Palos, who played on Tiny, Storm Spirit and Monkey King, had a lot of fun.
The meeting on the second map ended in 44 minutes with a score of 44-21 in favor of Fnatic. Another meeting that ended in a draw, and TSM still remain without victories in the group stage.
After the completion of matches in Group B, the table of the group stage is as follows:
Place | Team | Total score | Card account |
one | OG | 3-1-0 | 7-1 |
2 | Fnatic | 1-2-1 | 4-4 |
2 | Nigma Galaxy | 1-2-1 | 4-4 |
2 | TSM | 0-4-0 | 4-4 |
5 | Team Liquid | 0-3-1 | 3-5 |
6 | BOOM Esports | 0-2-2 | 2-6 |
The next and last matches of the group stage will take place tomorrow.
