The group stage of The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier has ended. The participants of the qualifying tournament fought in two groups to get a better seeding for the playoffs. Polaris Esports vs Vici Gaming

Vici Gaming easily overcame the representatives of Southeast Asia. Wildcard Gaming faced a difficult task. They needed to beat a team from Southeast Asia, reinforced by ana and Topson, two-time The International champions, for a chance to compete in a tiebreaker for a place in the upper bracket.

And at first it really seemed that they could succeed. WG won the first map against T1 quite confidently, seizing the advantage in terms of total cost almost immediately. T1 recovered from the defeat and decided to draw the match. In 35 minutes, the eminent team from Asia defeated Wildcard Gaming with a score of 39:16.
