Tundra Esports – şampiyonlar The International 2022

Tundra Esports became the champions of The International 2022, which was held in Singapore. In the grand final, Saksa and 33 defeated Team Secret 0-3.

Tundra Esports lost only 5 maps on their way to the grand final: four in the group stage and one in the upper bracket final against Team Secret. The victory at The International earned the Saksa team $8,487,009.

Team Secret are in 2nd place and earn $2,451,843. The Puppey team has overcome the longest path to the grand final: Secret won the Last Chance Qualifier, after which they reached the grand final of The International 2022, losing in the upper bracket final and beating Liquid in the match for reaching the final. For the club captain, this final was the 4th in his career: Puppey won The International in 2011 and reached the final match in 2012 and 2013 as part of NaVi.

The Grand Final of The International 2022 was the second European derby since 2019 and the second in history to end 0-3. The main tournament was previously won by Liquid in 2017.

The International 2022 was held from October 15 to 30 this year. The top 20 teams from around the world competed in LAN format for the title of world champion, as well as the largest prize pool of the year. Its amount was $18,490,932. The venues were Suntec Singapore and Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.
