Nigma Galaxy has been handed a default loss in their match against Team Falcons at the PGL Wallachia 2024 Season 2 Dota 2 tournament due to the absence of two key players—Amer Miracle- Al-Barkawi and Syed SumaiL Hassan. The tournament organizers announced this via the social media platform X.
Technical Defeat for Nigma Galaxy
Nigma Galaxy is unable to line up five players for tonight’s match against Team Falcons due to travel issues, leading to a forfeit and series loss.
Earlier, it was revealed that the team's carry and midlaner could not arrive at the tournament in Bucharest on time due to a delayed flight. Despite the team’s efforts, they were unable to find stand-ins, resulting in an automatic loss in their first group stage match against Team Falcons.
Interestingly, Team Falcons also faced roster issues: Ammar ATF Assaf was delayed at the airport along with SumaiL and Miracle-, and his spot was temporarily filled by coach Curtis Aui_2000 Ling. However, Falcons managed to field a full roster for the match.
The PGL Wallachia 2024 Season 2 is taking place from October 4 to 13 in Bucharest, Romania, featuring 16 teams competing for a prize pool of $1 million.
