We continue to watch the action at DreamLeague Season 24. It's one of the biggest and most titled online tournaments on the professional Dota 2 scene, with $1,000,000 in prize money.
At DreamLeague Season 24, the second group stage is already heating up. There will be 8 teams playing there, from which 4 clubs will go through. All this goodness will start on the 1st of November and one of the central matches will be Tundra - BB Team.
Let's see how this bo3 clash will end and who will earn important points that will help to get into the play-offs.

Tundra uniforms
Let's open the Tundra vs BB Team match with an analysis of Tundra's form. In this match they will play as favourites with odds to win at around 1.5.
In the first cycle of DPC 2023, Tundra only made it into the top 4 via tiebreaker, finishing in the top 3 at the end of the season. This gave them an opportunity to play at The Lima Major 2023, which they failed, finishing in the Top 12.
Things got better in the second DPC cycle. Tundra had re-matches again and again they did well, except now it was a Top-2 division match. Things also got better on the international stage at ESL One Berlin Major 2023, where the reigning world champions from The International finished in the top 6.
In the third cycle, DPC Tundra returned to the top of the competitive dota. The reigning World Champions of The International finished in the top 1 in their home league.
Tundra attended DreamLeague Season 20, but they didn't have much zeal to win there. The team failed to make it past the first group stage, finishing in the top 9-10.
At Bali Major 2023, Tundra had a forced stand-in. Saksa left the squad due to illness, but it didn't stop Tundra from reaching the top 3 of the tournament.
In Riyadh, Tundra again resorted to Aui for the same reason. With him they were able to get through the group stage and survive the round robin tiebreaks. All in all, there's an OG vibe of 2022 in Tundra. However, they failed to reach the top-12.
After the not so successful Riyadh, Tundra also failed at The International 2023, finishing in the top 16. After that, they finished in the top 7 at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023.

In the 2024 season, Tundra played all sorts of qualifiers, for which they spent the first half of the year. The European-born club went on to finish top 10 at DL Season 22 and top 8 at Elite League.
Tundra's partial rise came at ESL One Birmingham 2024, where the team managed to finish in the top 3. The peak of the 2024 season was TI 24, where Tundra reached the Top 3 and were close to reaching the Grand Final, but failed to do so. Later, with a revamped roster, they reached the top 3 at PGL Wallachia Season 2.
At DreamLeague S24, Tundra Esports made it through the first group stage, going 3-4-0 without losing a single game.

Among the most popular characters in Tundra Esports is Techies. The character has been picked 9 times, and his winrate is 66%.
Next is Bloodseeker, who has been picked 8 times. His win rate is 50%. Batrider (7 matches, 71% win rate), Doom (7 matches, 57% win rate), Timbersaw (6 matches, 66% win rate) were also picked.

We open the breakdown of the BB vs Tundra match with an analysis of BB's match form. In this match they will play as an outsider with win odds of 2.5.
In the first season of the regional league BB Team took the top 1, very confidently running over their main opponents Spirit and HR. However, the success was quickly overshadowed by their performance at Lima Major 2023, where BB failed to make it out of the group.
A few inconclusive events later, BB Team began play in the second division of the DPC. This time the situation changed dramatically, from top 1 to top 3, but on the international stage everything was stable: another failure to get out of the group at the Major e.
The third season of DPC was held under the slogan "it's time to get back", but somehow it didn't work out, something didn't go well and in the end - TOP-2. Again, kind of significant, but if we compare Western and Eastern Europe, TOP-2 in the first case is much more prestigious than BB achievement.

BB Team's moment of glory was DreamLeague Season 20. Having got to the tournament quite by chance (they replaced Execration), the Eastern European residents managed to make it to the grand final of the tournament, where they beat Gladiators, but eventually lost with the score 2-3.
After a solid group stage at The Bali Major 2023 with a 4-2-2 from BB, Eastern European Resident made it to the top set of play-offs. There the team outplayed Tundra Esports, but due to a tournament rules violation that result was cancelled. As a result, Bali Major 2023 ended for BB Team in the top 12.
After the last Major tournament of the season BB Team attended a number of other events. Among them is the Riyadh Masters 2023. At the biggest commercial tournament of the season, BB Team made it to the top 6, which is pretty good.
In addition to the Riyadh Masters 2023 BB Team also made an appearance at the BB Dacha. The tournament from the main sponsor BB Club finished without having started: BB Team failed to get out of the group and as a result finished in the top 8.
In the group stage of DreamLeague Season 21 BB Team played in Group B. They managed to take the 2nd place, passing only Team Spirit.
BB visited The International 2023. Then the team managed to reach the top 6, but they were knocked out of the tournament by Azure Ray.
At ESL Kuala Lumpur 2023 BB played the group stage neutrally, playing all matches in a draw. This allowed them to advance to the play-offs, where BB looked much better than they did in the group: 2-0 against Tundra Esports and 2-0 against G2.IG. However, BB Team went on to face Team Liquid and ended up in the top 4. Next BB Team played at BB Dacha Dubai 2024, where they reached the Top 3.
At the end of the first day of games at DreamLeague Season 22 BB Team took the first place in their group. They won against GG and played a draw with Vp. Further the situation for BB was not worse: on the second day they closed Azure Ray with the score 2-0. Despite two draws on the third day, this did not prevent them from advancing to the second group stage of the tournament.
BB Team started the second stage of DreamLeague Season 22 with victories from OG, Xtreme Gaming and Shopify Rebellion. As a result, they reached the grand finals, where they were run over by Falcons with a score of 3-0. Things were much worse at the Elite League: top-12.
Dali played at ESL One Birmingham 2024, where they reached the grand finals, but were eliminated by Falcons. They also played at PGL Wallachia Season 1, where they managed to reach TOP-11, which is not a good result.
At DreamLeague Season 23 BB Team barely made it through their group, making it to the bottom of the play-offs. However, after the disappointing Long Sogpeg managed to rehabilitate themselves during the play-offs and BB took the top 3.
The main tournament of the season was TI 2024, where BB managed to reach the Top 8, but the Falcons intervened.
In the first group stage BB played in Group A, where they played 2-4-1 and after finishing in the borderline 4th place, they qualified here.
The most popular BB Team characters
The most used BB Team character is Storm Spirit (5 matches, 60% wins). The team also plays with Primal Beast and Pugna at position 4, and both heroes have 4 matches and 100% wins each. In spades was Enchantress (4 matches, 25% wins), Beastmaster (4 games, 0% wins).

In this match I expect a pretty even game. In my opinion, it will be a full-fledged Bo3 with a bias towards Tundra's victory. The reasoning behind this is the roughly equal game in the first stage of the tournament.
