Team Aster are the 21st team in the world rankings. They finish the first DPC round in the Chinese region in 2nd place, losing to PSG.LGD in 1st place. In the Lima Major, the team is not confident in the game and as a consequence, they are in 7th-8th place. The team's Dreamleague Season 19 is not going well at all. They played frankly poorly and finished the tournament in 11th-12th place. In the second DPC round, the team managed to take only the 4th place and could hardly qualify for this Berlin Major. They took part in the tournament with substitution of Ori for Sumail. Just as they had been at the previous major, they were placed 7th-8th in the group. After that it was decided to lease Sumail to the team from Nygma. With such a squad they have secured the 3rd place in the 3rd round of DPC. With the same squad, they take 8th place in DreamLeague S20.

Shopify Rebellion is the 9th team in the world ranking. Lima major have been phenomenal in my opinion with the level of play the team was showing at the time. Ranked 4th. Both DPC in their region finish in 2nd place behind TSM. Most likely some kind of barrier in the mind as they are objectively playing better. Dreamleague S19 are also extremely successful. Are ranked 3rd in the final table. The Berlin Major was rather disappointing, sharing 9th-12th place in the end. In the 3rd round, DPC managed without any difficulties at all, losing only 1 map out of 7 matches. DreamLeague S20 was not as successful for the team. They finished only in a modest 11th position.

A bit more impressed SR in this meeting, but I can't say that they lead by a margin. Perhaps not enough for a clean win, in addition, the previous three meetings ended in a draw. I won't argue with the statistics and assume that this match won't decide the winner either.
