Team Aster started the season ranked second in the DPC CN 2023 Tour 1: Division I, but finished 7th-8th at the 2023 Lima Major. In the second round, DPC Team Aster finished in fourth place, allowing them to travel to Berlin for the Major tournament. At ESL One Berlin Major 2023, BoBoKa and his teammates repeated the result they achieved in Lima, finishing in 7th-8th place. At the inaugural ESL Pro Tour Dota 2 2023 tournament, DreamLeague Season 19, Team Aster finished in 11th-12th place, earning $20,000.

Before DreamLeague Season 20, Team Aster played in the DPC CN 2023 Tour 3: Division I. There, the team started their performance on a series of five wins before losing two matches and being forced to play a bo3 tiebreaker against Invictus Gaming for 2nd-3rd place in the standings. After losing 1-2 to IG, Team Aster finished in third place, which earned the team $27,000 and 200 DPC points. The Aster will also fly to Bali.

BetBoom are the 11th team in the world rankings. In their region, the DPCs confidently finish in 1st position in the first round. This is followed by a disastrous performance at the Lima Major, where they take a dismal 15th-16th place. In the second round, DPC finished in 3rd place, giving way to HR and Spirit, respectively. The team was not invited to the Dreamleague. The Berlin Major also spent quite sadly, finishing in 13th-14th place. On the lanaires, the team hasn't been able to do so far. Team Aster is the 12th team in the world ranking. In their first DPC round in the Chinese region they finished in 2nd place, after losing first place to PSG.LGD. In the Lima Major, they didn't show much confidence and as a result ended up in the 7th-8th place. The team's Dreamleague Season 19 is not going well at all. They played frankly poorly and finished the tournament in 11th-12th place. In the second DPC round, the team managed to take only the 4th place and could hardly qualify for this Berlin Major. They took part in the tournament with substitution of Ori for Sumail. Just as they had been at the previous major, they were placed 7th-8th in the group. After that it was decided to lease Sumail to the team from Nygma. With such a squad in the 3rd round of DPC we will be in third place.

The encounter between these teams is difficult to judge, but BB have historically performed well in big tournaments in the group, but in the play-offs their hands are shaky. They are underdogs in this match, so I'll take their handicap.
