Before the qualifiers for The International was the performance at the biggest commercial event of the year - Riyadh Masters 2023. In Riyadh, the team "surpassed" the indicators of their own international results - this time it all ended at the TOP-20.
In the first match, Execration played against Neon Esports. The match ended 2-0 in favour of Execration, in fairness to Neon they pulled to 38 and 40 minutes on the first and second map respectively.
In the match for the top grid final, Execration played against Team SMG. Quite unexpectedly, Execration lost their game, although with a score of 1-2.

Again, before the tournament's Long Round, I would not have believed in BOOM's ability to compete with Execration on equal terms. But that will truly be the case in this match.
BOOM has had a season full of ups and downs, but the latter has been decidedly more so. 2023 began with a second place finish at the M. Invitational 2023, where BOOM Ledgeили Bleed Esports in the grand finals.
Next up was an appearance at the DPC SEA 2023 Tour 1: Division 1, where things were clearly not going their way. At the end of the first season, DPC BOOM finished in 7th place in the league, going 2-5.
After dropping to the second division, BOOM played at the local BTS Pro Series Season 14: Southeast Asia. There, by the way, also did not go, and the result was TOP-6.
After two failures came better times: BOOM won The Arena Anthem, and then became the TOP-1 team of the second division at DPC SEA 2023 Tour 2: Division II. However, BOOM didn't last long: DPC SEA 2023 Tour 3: Division 1 ended with BOOM in 7th place.

BOOM started the regional qualifiers for The International 2023 with a 0-2 loss against Bleed Esports. The problems were not over in the lower nets.
