Paranoia
One of the main Omen’s abilities that blinds opponents and give a player an advantage in shootings. It is hard to tell anything new as the functionality of Paranoia resembles a flash grenade.
However, we have to understand a few things. First of all, the ability affects only those players who it was aimed at. In other words, releasing a charge Omen has to calculate the trajectory of the flight and affected opponents.
Secondly, Paranoia hits in a straight line, so players from the opposite team can turn away from the charge.
Nevertheless, the ability is very useful in both attack and defense of different positions. Taking into account the fact that the charge goes through walls, Omen may not be afraid of the map features. As soon as Paranoia hits the aim, the head of the opponent gets covered with a cloud and they lose vision for 2,5 seconds.
How to play: Press LBM to throw the blinding orb that can go through walls. Having touched players, the charge will limit their players.

Dark Cover
Another Omen’s famous ability is Dark Cover. In this case the agent throws a shadow orb to the marked position, blocking vision. In other words, the ability functions as a smoke grenade.
However, there are peculiarities. First of all, Omen throws a charge almost contactlessly. To do so, the agent enters a different reality and chooses specific positions in the nearest location. Secondly, the sphere also goes through walls that make up an additional advantage for the player themselves.
Universality of Dark Cover is unequivocal. Omen can use the ability both in defense, covering the positions when the opponents are out, and in attack, creating a closed space at the point of planting Spike.
How to play: Press the ability key to throw the shadow orb that expands at the chosen place, blocking vision. Hold LMB to increase the range of the throw. Hold RMB to throw the orb at close range. Press the reload key to toggle the normal targeting view.

Shrouded Step

Nevertheless, while using the ability, Omen shows the position where he is going to teleport and makes a noise during the teleportation. We should not also forget about a lag when the opponent can prevent the move and eliminate the player themselves.

From the Shadows
The ultimate ability that is available for a player after gaining 7 points. From the Shadows is an improved version of Shrouded Step, enabling Omen to teleport to any spot on the map, not depending on the distance.
There may be numerous kinds of applying the ultimate ability: one of them is creation of fake vision for distracting opponents. However, you need to know the disadvantages of the ability. First of all, during teleportation Omen distorts the mini maps of their opponents. Secondly, the agent also makes a very loud noise that can help players from the opposite team to detect the direction.
So, opponents can always be ready for teleportation and wait for Omen. However, if the player gets killed during From the Shadow activation, they will respawn at the starting point and carry on playing. Moreover, Omen can cancel teleportation if he notices something is wrong.
How to play: Press LMB to start teleporting to the selected spot. During the teleportation, Omen appears as a shadow that can be destroyed by the opponents for canceling teleportation. Press the ability key to cancel teleportation yourself.

Omen is simple to use in terms of mastering the skills. The fact that the agent can not only teleport but block vision to the opponents in different forms makes him an effective weapon both in defense and attack.
Main tips that can help to play Omen right:
- Use Dark Cover to close the positions that you want to pass by. As the Dark Show ability is reloaded later, you will get it back during the round.
- You can use the ability to teleport to cross windows or corridors that could be kept by the enemy, so you could appear from the other side.
- Do not neglect combinations of abilities. For instance, Omen can throw Dark Cover to the spot where they plan to teleport, blocking the respawn point for the opponents.
