Fluxo, NRG'yi ESL Pro League S22'den eleyerek şanslarını canlı tutuyor
The Brazilian team Fluxo showcased a confident performance against NRG at ESL Pro League Season 22, securing a 2-0 victory. After controlling Nuke (13:8) and closing out a tense finish on Train (13:11), Fluxo remain in contention for the next stage of the tournament, while NRG’s run ends in an early exit.
Nuke (13:8 Fluxo)
The first map, Nuke, was Fluxo’s pick. Despite dropping several rounds in the first half and finishing it 5:7, the Brazilian side managed to turn things around in the second half. Fluxo displayed solid defense, losing only the pistol round, and with a streak of 8 consecutive rounds secured the win at 13:8.
Train (13:11 Fluxo)
On their opponent’s pick, Fluxo started dominantly, stringing together 5 rounds in a row to build strong economy and closing the half at 8:4. In the second half, the situation shifted as Fluxo led 12:5, but NRG managed to fight back, bringing the score to 11:12 and coming just one round away from overtime — and possibly forcing the decider Mirage. However, Fluxo clutched the crucial final round to seal the map 13:11.
Match MVP
The best player of the match was Fluxo’s newcomer Lucaozy. His stats throughout the series: ADR – 94.6, Swing +5.49%, and a 1.46 rating. Despite NRG’s Sonic posting a strong 1.37 rating, it wasn’t enough to carry his team to victory.
With this result, Fluxo remain in the tournament, moving to the 1-2 pool. For NRG, the journey ends in 15th-16th place with a $3,000 prize. ESL Pro League S22 Stage 1 runs from September 28 to October 2, featuring 16 teams fighting for a spot in the second stage and a total prize pool of $400,000.
