3DMAX overcame ENCE 2:1 in a tense matchup at ESL Pro League S22. After losing on Dust2, the French squad confidently struck back on Nuke and then sealed victory on Ancient in overtime, securing their spot in the second stage of the tournament.

Dust2 (13:11 ENCE)

On their own pick, ENCE held a slight advantage in the first half. Playing on the T side, they won the majority of rounds and closed it 7:5. In the second half, 3DMAX caught up and even led 11:10, but sdy and his team managed to push through and closed the map 13:11.

Nuke (13:5 3DMAX)

On the second map, the first half ended with the same score as Dust2, but this time in favor of 3DMAX. On the T side, ENCE failed to break through the French team’s defense and, without winning a single round after the switch, fell 13:5.

Ancient (16:14 3DMAX)

On the decider Ancient, neither side wanted to give up without a fight. The first half ended evenly at 6:6. In the second half, rounds kept swinging back and forth, with ENCE winning the key last round to force overtime. Despite clutch plays from sdy, ENCE fell short in the extra rounds, losing 16:14.

Two players from 3DMAX delivered the standout stats in this series. Lucky recorded the highest ADR at 83.3, while Maka achieved the best Swing at +2.73% and a 1.21 rating.

With this victory, 3DMAX advance to the second stage of ESL Pro League Season 22. ENCE drop to the 2-2 bracket, where they will still have a chance to progress. ESL Pro League S22 Stage 1 runs from September 28 to October 2, with 16 teams competing for a place in the next stage and a total prize pool of $400,000.
