Team Spirit takes 4th place in DreamLeague Season 22 and leaves the tournament
The two-time champions of The International, Team Spirit, couldn't withstand the pressure from the Chinese team Xtreme Gaming and suffered a defeat in the first match of the playoffs at DreamLeague Season 22.
The showdown between Xtreme Gaming and Team Spirit ended with a score of 2:1. All three maps were close and differed in their duration. The first map lasted 47 minutes (won by Xtreme Gaming), the second lasted 42 minutes (won by Team Spirit), and the third concluded in 40 minutes (won by Xtreme Gaming). It's worth noting the second map and the hero selection from the Chinese team, with Anti-Mage as their carry on the safe lane and Terrorblade as support. This unconventional decision didn't help them, and they headed into the deciding third map.
