Experts expected a close match, but the teams followed the trend of this match day and finished the series very quickly — much to the delight of Team Liquid. The team gave their opponents no chance, winning the first map in 21 minutes and the second in 26 minutes.

Among Team Liquid’s players, Nisha and miCKe stood out in particular, with the latter finishing both maps without a single death.

This is already Team Liquid’s third victory at DreamLeague Season 29 Group Stage 2, and the team now leads the tournament standings with a 6–0 record.

DreamLeague Season 28 takes place from February 16 to March 1, 2026, and is one of the largest online tournaments of this part of the season. Sixteen teams are participating, including both top-tier professional giants and new names. The tournament’s prize pool is $1 million, and teams will also receive EPT Points depending on their performances.
