/The penultimate gaming day of Halo World Championship 2022 has come to an end, as a result of which OpTic Gaming, Native Gaming Red, Oxygen Esports, FaZe Clan, Sentinels and Cloud9 remained in the fight for the main trophy. In turn, six other teams left the event, dropping out of the race for big awards.
Following the results of the starting series of matches, Gamers First, G2 Esports, JLINGZ esports and Acend left the tournament, having lost in the first round of the lower bracket.
Fnatic and eUnited were further eliminated from the fight for the trophy, losing to Oxygen Esports and Cloud9, respectively, in the second round of the lower bracket. In turn, the teams OpTic Gaming and Native Gaming Red made it to the finals of the upper bracket, having managed to outplay Sentinels and FaZe Clan, respectively.
Halo World Championship 2022 takes place October 20-23 in Seattle at the Seattle Convention Center. As part of the championship, twenty teams from Europe, Mexico, North America and Oceania are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,000,000, as well as rating points.

- 13th-16th place: Complexity Gaming, Team WaR, TSS Esports and Natus Vincere — $5,000 + 36,000 points
- 17th-18th place: Spacestation Gaming and Chiefs - 30,000 points
- 19th-20th place: Divine Mind and Altar Esports - 24,000 points
