RNG Worlds 2022'ye geçti: Group Stage

Following Evil Geniuses, Royal Never Give Up qualified for the Worlds 2022 group stage. The club from the LPL overtook the Japanese from DetonatioN FocusMe in the match for the exit.

Unlike the first duel, this match brought a semblance of a struggle - at least it did not end on three maps. DetonatioN FocusMe managed to take the lead, however, against a team of the Royal Never Give Up level, a strong debut is not enough, and DFM could not keep the pace at a distance.

The Japanese club joins MAD Lions in the TOP 18. The team leaves the League of Legends World Championship with $38,000 in their pocket.

Royal Never Give Up is expected to advance to the group stage. The reigning MSI champions will compete for playoffs with 100Thieves, CTBC Flying Olyster and Gen.G Esports.

The “Kings” will play their debut match at the “full” Worlds 2022 against South Korean champions LCK Gen, G Esports. The meeting will take place on October 8 at 04:00 CET.

The 2022 World Championship runs from September 29 to November 5 in Mexico and the United States. The Play-In stage will take place from September 29 to October 4 at the Arena Esports Stadium in Mexico City, and the group stage will take place from October 7-10 and October 13-16 at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. As part of the championship, 24 teams from all over the world are fighting for a total prize pool of $2,225,000.
