Tomorrow, November 21, the Six Jönköping Major 2022 will start - the last Rainbow Six Major of the season. Over the next week, the top sixteen teams from their respective regions will compete for the lion's share of the $500,000 prize pool, as well as the final ranking points needed to qualify for the Six Invitational 2023.

Format of the Six Jönköping Major 2022

The event will be held from 21 to 27 November in three stages:

• Group stage: from November 21 to 23 - in Stockholm, Sweden (no spectators)
• Playoffs: November 25-26 at DreamHack Winter in Jönköping, Sweden (with spectators)
• Grand Final: November 27 - DreamHack Winter in Jönköping, Sweden (with spectators)

The championship will begin with a group stage, which will be held in a round robin format, offering participants two meetings with each opponent with BO1 matches. From here, the two best teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, forming quarter-final pairs. All playoff matches, with the exception of the grand final (BO5), will be played in the BO3 format.

• 1st place: $200,000 + 375 points
• 2nd place: $80,000 + 300 points
• 3rd-4th place: $40,000 + 230 points
• 5th-8th place: $20,000 + 165 points
• 9th-12th place: $10,000 + 105 points
• 13th-16th place: $5,000 + 50 points

Six Jönköping Major 2022 will be held from November 21 to 27 in Jönköping, Sweden at the Elmia Congress Center. Sixteen teams from Europe, Asia, North and South America will take part in the event and compete for a prize pool of $500,000, as well as rating points.
