At the same time, the teams G2 Esports and Astralis managed to get into the quarterfinals of the lower bracket, where tomorrow, February 17, they will meet with Wolves Esports and KOI, respectively.
In their duel, the North American team M80 Esports lost to G2 Esports with a score of 0:2, unable to cope with the pressure of an experienced opponent. This defeat was the second of three matches played in the championship playoffs for the team.
In turn, the French team Team BDS lost to Astralis with a score of 1:2, also joining the list of eliminated participants. The team played four games in the playoffs, two of which ended in failure.
Today, February 16, the participants will be given a day of rest. However, tomorrow, February 17, the following meetings will begin, including the quarter-finals of the lower bracket:
