The organizers of Gamers8 2022 have presented the results of the group stage draw for their Rocket League championship. As a result, Team Falcons got into Group D, where Dignitas, AllMid, Gaimin Gladiators, Renegades and 01 Esports will be represented along with it.

Group A

Top seed: G2 Esports and Guild Esports.

Bottom seed: Luminosity Gaming, Twisted Minds, Complexity Gaming, and DeToNator.

Group B

Top seed: Endpoint CeX and Spacestation Gaming.

Bottom seed: Rogue, Team Secret, HEET and ANKAA.

Group C

Top seeding: FaZe Clan and FURIA.

Bottom seed: SMPR Esports, Orlando Pirates Exdee, F16 Esports and OWL Esports.

Group D

Top seed: Dignitas and Team Falcons.

Bottom seed: AllMid, Gaimin Gladiators, Renegades and 01 Esports.

Format of Gamers8 2022

The championship will start from the group stage, where the best teams will start their journey from the upper bracket semi-finals. The Gamers8 2022 Playoffs will feature the top two teams from each group.

Gamers8 2022 will take place from July 14 to 17 in Riyadh at Riyadh Boulevard. As part of the championship, 24 teams from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Oceania, Africa, North and South America will compete for a prize pool of $2,000,000.

Recall that a little earlier, the Moist Esports teamdecided to withdraw from the Gamers8 2022 championship. The club explained its decision due to the infringement of LGBTQ+ rights in the host country of the tournament, Saudi Arabia.
