/RLCS 2022-23 - Winter: North America Regional 2 - Winter Cup has come to an end. As part of the championship, which was held online from February 17 to 19, sixteen teams from North America, Brazil and Latin America competed for a total prize pool of $100,000, as well as rating points. The FaZe Clan team became a sensational winner of the tournament, which turned out to be stronger than Gen.G Mobil1 Racing with a score of 4:3 in the hardest grand final.
The competition for Galacticos began with a confident performance in the group stage, during which the North American team won three victories over Shopify Rebellion (3:0), M80 Esports (3:0) and NRG (3:1). As a result, the team took first place in Group B and directly made it to the semi-finals of the championship.
Here, FaZe Clan continued its winning streak, defeating Knights (4:0) and G2 Esports (4:2) in turn. Once in the grand finals, the team sensationally closed Gen.G Mobil1 Racing (4:3), thanks to which they became the winner of the RLCS 2022-23 - Winter: North America Regional 2 - Winter Cup.
After this victory, the FaZe Clan team moved up to the third position in the regional ranking of the winter split. In turn, Gen.G Mobil1 Racing, despite the defeat in the final, guaranteed a place in the upcoming Rocket League Championship Series 2022-23 - Winter Split Major.
